Coco Plum Villa

The name of this villa is derived from another native plant called the Coco Plum (Chrysobalanus icaco) sometimes called Paradise Plum. It has leathery evergreen leaves which range in color from deep green to red. The flowers are small, white clusters which blossom in late spring. In late summer, the fruit can be seen and when fully ripe can be a pale yellow color or a dark purple depending on whether the bush is an inland tree or coastal shrub. The sweet fruit is edible and quite delicious as long as you avoid the large pit in the center.

Our Villa:
The inviting covered porch beckons travelers to rest a while and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful island oasis. The cool ocean breezes may tempt you to never leave the verandah, but when you do a serene living space awaits, furnished in shades of spring green and cool white with tan colored rattan furniture. The large living area has a half bath just to the side of the entryway - convenient for entertaining and extends to a screened in back patio. A few steps away is the expansive eat-in kitchen with spotless white appliances and a breakfast bar that seats four persons comfortably. The laundry room with washer and dryer is off to the side.

A cherry stained wooden staircase leads to the upper floor where both generously sized bedrooms boast spectacular views of the turquoise ocean from the balcony. The first bedroom is fitted with dark wood furniture with clean modern lines and en suite bath. An abundance of windows and the glass door leading to the balcony lets in lots of natural light and soothing breezes while the tiled floors keep the bedroom cool. The second bedroom with its tan furniture mirrors the first bedroom with its spacious floor plan and ample windows.
