The Exumas are one of the prettiest settings for snorkeling in the entire Bahamas. You can see corals and sea fans scattered across the ocean's white-sand bottom, and turtles, grouper, lobsters and tropical fish huddled within the reefs. There's also the excitement of swimming with pigs, boating excursions and glass-bottom boat rides, kayaking or sailing.

Snorkeling Sites in The Exuma Islands:
  • Harbour Buoy Portside - a very active reef with plenty of things to see and discover.
  • Harbour Buoy Starboard - old ship’s mast at the northern end; lots of brain corals.
  • Loaded Barrel Reef - large sea beds of staghorn corals and tropical creatures.
  • Jolly Hall - reef is a hatchery for schools of grunts and yellowtail; snappers nearby.
