St. Margarets Anglican Church

Behind the villas and a short walk up a gently sloping hill is St. Margaret's Anglican Church established on April 13, 1848. The quaint blue and white church is named for St. Margaret of Antioch. One Legend understood mystically by the medieval church relates that this saint, when under persecution, was confronted by a dragon (Satan) which devoured her. The cross she wore grew so large in his mouth that she emerged unharmed. The standard is a gold cross and dragon on a blue field.

If you would like to attend a service while in residence, they are held on Sundays at 7:15am, 10:30am and 7:00pm; Tuesdays at 7:00am, Wednesdays at 1:00pm and 6:30pm; and Thursdays at 6:00am.
