Located less than one-quarter (1/4) mile (up the beach) north of Thatch Berry Villas is a popular local restaurant and bar called Big D's Conch Spot Bar & Grill. This restaurant sits on the beach and serves a well appointed menu of native Bahamian dishes. This cabana-style restaurant allows you can choose from a variety of delicious sandwiches and other mouth-watering Bahamian dishes, while you cool off with the balmy breeze of the Atlantic. Big D's is open for Lunch and Dinner (closed Mondays).
